Itโ€™s What Youโ€™ve Done After You Think Youโ€™ve Done It All

Bro. David Gilley ยท Sunday, October 18, 2026 ยท Luke 5:1โ€“11 (KJV (King James Version))

Scripture and Prayer: Luke 5:1โ€“11 โ€” read by Bro. Steve Riser

    Dear Church Family,

Peter was a rugged fisherman who knew his profession well, but there are some nights where nothing works out. You catch nothing! You have toiled, and you come up empty. So, you remove your nets, and begin washing them for the next time you fish. You're tired, you want to go home. You have made no money today.

But, then you hear a Carpenter's voice saying, "Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught." You complain a little because you're tired, but you decide to carry out His command. Suddenly, your nets are filled with fish inexplicably. Both ships, in fact, are filled with fish, but you come and humble yourself before the Carpenter of Nazareth. You realize that He indeed is the Lord, and whatever He asks you to do, you can do it.

    Your Pastor,

    David N. Gilley
